Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Screenhouse, LLC collects when you use thescreenhouse.com, buy tickets or merchandise, join our list, or contact us — and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to run the venue and talk to you, we don’t sell it, and you can leave our list any time.

What we collect

• When you buy. Name, email, phone (optional), ZIP code, and shipping address if you choose shipping. Payment details go directly to Stripe; we never receive your full card number.
• When you join our list or contact us. Whatever you give us in the form — usually name, email, and your message.
• When you attend. Your ticket’s check-in time when it is scanned at the door.
• When you browse. Standard web logs and, if you accept it, analytics cookies (see below).

How we use it

• To deliver your tickets and orders, and to contact you about the event you bought for (rescheduling, cancellations, door times).
• To email you about upcoming shows and offers — only if you ticked the box or joined the list. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works instantly.
• To text you event-day updates — only if you opted in; reply STOP to any message to opt out.
• To understand which shows and pages people care about, so we book better.
• To keep the venue safe, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent your information. We share it only with services that help us operate: Stripe (payments), Postmark (email delivery), an SMS provider (if you opt in to texts), a fulfilment partner (only your shipping address, only if you ship an order), Google Analytics (if you accept analytics cookies), and, for events produced by outside promoters, the producer of that event so they can settle their show and contact you about it. Each is bound to use your data only to provide that service.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep your ticket cart or bag while you shop; it holds no personal data. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets cookies to help us understand site traffic. You can decline analytics in the notice at the bottom of the page or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site works fully without them.

Retention

Order and ticket records are kept for seven years for tax and accounting. Marketing preferences are kept until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only your address on a suppression list so we don’t email you again. Contact-form messages are kept for two years.

Your choices & rights

• Unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any message, or by contacting us.
• Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we’ll keep what the law requires us to keep). Use the contact form or call 314.328.5868.
• We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out from analytics.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Family events may admit minors with an adult; the adult’s details are what we hold.

Changes

We’ll post updates here and change the effective date. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be announced by email to our list.
